The room pictured is the largest room (30x35x12). It offers an open ambient sound (Zeppelin), or with the use of gobo's, has the versatility of a tight room (Al Green). Our middle room (20x18x12, no photo), can be mic'd from the large room, capturing its spacious ambience: simply open the doors that isolate these rooms from one another. This room is a diverse drum room, not too big and not too small. It can be really tight, or nice and open. Both rooms have wood floors and the walls are a variety of cement, plaster and wood. There is an isolation booth adjacent to both rooms, allowing visual accesses to all three. Each room has a variety of bass traps on the ceiling and sections of the walls. Imagine any drum sound: you can have it!! |
